No. I do not bill insurance directly. However, as an out-of-network provider, I can provide a monthly superbill that you may submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Please check with your insurance provider to confirm your specific coverage.

Before beginning therapy, we’ll schedule a complimentary 20–30 minute phone call. This is an opportunity for you to ask questions about my approach and for me to learn more about what brings you to therapy. I’ll also ask some initial questions to ensure I can meet your needs. If it turns out we’re not the right fit, I’ll be happy to provide alternative referral options.
-
Our first meeting begins the assessment process, which typically takes 1–2 sessions. I’ll ask about different areas of your life to better understand your concerns, and together we’ll start to form a shared picture of your needs and discuss possible treatment goals and next steps.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a structured form of psychotherapy that helps people improve mental health by identifying and changing unhelpful thoughts and behaviors. It is effective for many conditions, often short-term, and equips you with tools you can continue using on your own.
CBT can sometimes feel like a class, which may not suit everyone. While I use a CBT framework, we can decide together whether a more structured or conversational style works best for you. During our first few sessions, we’ll explore whether CBT is the right fit for your needs.
-
Most clients meet weekly to build consistency and momentum. If symptoms lessen and the focus shifts to maintenance, sessions may move to every other week. Less frequent scheduling is generally discouraged, as it tends to be less effective.
-
The duration of therapy varies depending on your goals and presenting concerns. Short-term therapy is often around 8–12 sessions, while longer-term work may continue as needed. We’ll collaborate to determine what feels appropriate for your situation.
-
Not at this time. I exclusively offer video sessions for our therapy appointments. Recent research has shown that online CBT is just as effective as therapy received in a therapist’s office. With teletherapy, you can receive evidence-based care from the comfort of your own home.
